1.Who we are

ApnaAdda is run by RootToRoof Solutions Private Limited. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use ApnaAdda, how we use it, and the choices you have.

2.What we collect

Account details: your name and the contact details you give us, and your password (stored in protected form).
Addresses: delivery addresses, landmarks and, where you allow it, map coordinates.
Orders: what you ordered, from which shop, order notes, coupons used and delivery status.
Reviews and support: reviews you write and messages you send to Support.
Basic device information: such as browser type, needed to keep the app working and secure.

3.How we use it

To create your account, show shops near you and process your orders.
To arrange delivery and tell you about the status of your order.
To give you support and handle refunds and complaints.
To keep the app safe, prevent fraud and fix problems.
To meet legal, tax and accounting duties.

4.Your location

We ask for your location only when you tap the button to detect it, and only if your browser or phone allows it. We use it to find your delivery area. You can say no and choose your area yourself instead.

5.Voice search

If you use voice search, your browser or phone’s speech service may process what you say to turn it into text. We receive only the text of your search, not the recording.

6.Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share only what is needed with:

the shop you order from (your name, order and delivery address, and contact details needed to deliver);
delivery partners who bring your order;
payment providers, where online payment is available;
service providers that help us run the app, such as hosting;
authorities, when the law requires it.

7.Data stored in your browser

We store small pieces of data in your browser, such as your language choice and your signed-in session, so the app works properly. If we add analytics or advertising tools in the future, we will update this policy first.

8.How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as needed to run your account, complete orders and meet legal, tax and accounting duties. After that we delete it or remove anything that identifies you.

9.Keeping it safe

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your password private.

10.Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask to see, correct or erase your personal data, withdraw your consent, and make a complaint about how it is handled.

You can change your name and details in your account. For anything else, write to us at info@apna-adda.com and we will help.

11.Children

ApnaAdda is meant for people aged 18 and over. Children should use it only with a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect children’s information without a parent’s or guardian’s consent.

12.Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
